Last night, Fabiani introduced their new-look store at Cavendish Square, Cape Town, showcasing the Summer 2012/2013 collection. Guests including actress Natalie Becker and model Tanya Van Graan were invited to enjoy an evening of G.H.Mumm Champagne, canapés and fashion.
For Summer 2012/2013, Fabiani Brand Director Arie Fabian presents a collection which takes its inspiration from summertime holiday destinations in Italy. Created with hotel resort living in mind, the Fabiani Summer 2012/2013 collection brings Italian style to the discerning South African gentleman, who isn’t afraid of the trademark Fabiani ‘pop’ of colour. Impeccably crafted and designed, each sophisticated piece has a place in the fashion conscious man’s wardrobe. The collection is characterized by quality, with the sophistication of the Fabiani design being apparent in each item. Suits made from top quality fabrics are meticulously tailored to achieve the best and most flattering fit. The new collection encompasses a variety of looks ranging from sport lux casual wear to slim or tailored fit outfits. Inspired by what guests would be wearing while on holiday in iconic Italian cities such as Capri, Firenze, Milano, Florence and Portofino, the new Summer collection combines comfort with elegant style – each piece designed with the benchmark Fabiani quality of materials sourced from the best Italian mills.
The shoes in the collection are all handmade in Italy by top Italian craftsmen and offer the height of luxurious comfort. Classic brogues have been redesigned into a colourful and playful version that can be worn casually – adding that quintessential Fabiani ‘pop.’ Gladiator style sandals are an on-trend look to be worn with classic fitted trousers. The re-introduction of the classic ‘Driving Shoe’ in more daring and bright colours is an exciting part of the new collection. Worn with the Fabiani Polo Shirt and fitted trousers or Denham jeans, driving shoes are one of the many must-have items for Summer 2012/2013.
