Summer has arrived in South Africa, and for the third year running I was invited to attend the annual Pink Polo Charity Event held at Val de Vie Estate, in Cape Town. This year, the main sponsor of this prestigious cancer awareness charity event was Cintron along with Vodacom. Guests in attendance at the Cintron Pink Polo 2014 included former Miss South Africa Melinda Bam, Olympic Gold Medalist Swimmer Ryk Neethling, international actress and radio personality Natalie Becker, television personality Tanya Nefdt and models Roxy Louw, Joelle Kayembe, Marine Paulsen (with her fiancé Willem Swanepoel) as well as socialites, Tammy Cameron, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Peta Eggierth-Symes (owner of Pallu Boutique) and Jasna Zellerhoff.

We were treated to a phenomenal polo match, delicious canapés and champagne, and if that wasn’t enough, the beautiful designs of Warrick Gautier for Jenni Button SS2014 fashion show. It was certainly a celebration of women as guests embraced the sentiment of the event throughout the afternoon at the countryside. Special thank you to creater and founder of Pink Polo in Cape Town, Edith Venter. Special thanks to Marina Nestel from The Little Black Book PR. Also thanks to Hilton Weiner for dressing me to this event.
