gucci cruise 2013 campaign

Gucci, Cruise Collection 2013

Enticing with the allure of paradise, the GUCCI Cruise 2013 ad campaign images are a sight of vacation perfection featuring a stellar cast of models including Karmen Pedaru, Joan Smalls and Baptiste Radufe. Captured by the legendary photography duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the models showcase the Italian brand’s Cruise 2013 collection that is an array of stunning colourful garments in pastel colours set in the idyllic appeal of being seaside at a glamorous vacation spot. The look is casual, accomplices floral patterns that recall the iconic flora design and marine references. The atmosphere represents a luxurious escape in Capri, with caftans, tapered jackets and dresses. With it’s chic appeal, this decadent campaign will resonate well with the luxury market that it aims to draw in.

Madonna, MDNA, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, now 53, Madonna doesn’t look a day older than 35, as her 12th album, ‘MDNA‘ (released on 23 March 2012) arrives shortly after her new range of footwear but before the launch of her new perfume. It is apparent that Madge of the Dance Floor is nothing if not consistent, garter-belt sexy for “Girl Gone Wild,” she metaphorically takes off her undies on “I’m Addicted” and tosses off half a dozen typically “disarming things” about her private life, hence this has been dubbed her “divorce album”. Her second single, “Gang Bang,” has a good beat you can dance to, as does “I’m Addicted,” a driving love anthem produced by DJ Benny Benassi.  As on Madonna’s best albums — “Like a Virgin,” “Ray of Light” and “Music” she thrives between pop’s present and future, with each hit single she offers a dose of ‘new’ that confirmed her ability to seduce her fans.
