‘my top billing dream presenter search’ continues

My Top Billing Presenter Search 2012 - Jo-Ann Strauss, Janez Vermeiren, Simba Mhere

Jo-Ann Strauss, elegant as always, Janez Vermeiren with is usual charm and good looks and director, Lars Schwinges took to the judges table in Cape Town yesterday as the ‘My Top Billing Dream Presenter Search’ call-back contestants seized their second opportunity to show off their presenting talents for a shot at becoming the newest member of the Top Billing presenter team. Simba Mhere was also there, living proof that Top Billing dreams can come true. Hopefuls from all around Cape Town streamed to the Fire & Ice Hotel this past weekend to dazzle the judges for a chance to go through to round two and some of them did just that. In the second round, contestants were asked to prepare a 60 second link and it was lights, camera, action as the contestants delivered their links on camera. Nerves were high, but the dream of becoming a Top Billing presenter was certainly clear as they pushed through the pressure. It was all about constructive, positive and honest responses from the three judges, as each of them discussed the auditions and engaged with the contestants. After the preliminary rounds, the selected top contestants will go through to the final judging rounds with Top Billing‘s Executive Producer, Patience Stevens, Jeannie D and comedian Eugene Khoza. With Bloemfontein, Durban, PE, Polokwane and Cape Town done and dusted, it’s on to the final leg of the search as the ‘My Top Billing Dream Presenter Search’ heads off to Johannesburg from 8-11 June – Look out Johannesburg, Cape Town brought the talent, so be sure to pull out all the stops.
