‘wrangler’ denim joins ‘brand ambassadors’

Wrangler Denim South Africa, Brand Ambassadors PR (by Denzil Jacobs)

Brand Ambassadors is proud to announce that the public relations and marketing firm now represents Wrangler, one of the three biggest denim brands in the world. Encapsulating the spirit of freedom of being yourself, Wrangler boast over a hundred years of denim heritage and is a firm favourite of international celebrities including Rihanna, Lana Del Rey, Poppy Delevigne and Harrison Ford. “We are thrilled to be asked to represent such an iconic denim brand,” said Brand Ambassadors’ Thulane Hadebe. “This cements our reputation for representing leading local and international fashion and lifestyle brands.” The awarding of the account follows Brand Ambassadors’ successful re-launch of Wrangler in South Africa through a much-talked about event at Newtown’s Turbine Hall in July 2012. Founded in the USA in 1904, Wrangler was originally named Blue Bell and has its roots in workwear. It was renamed Wrangler, meaning “working cowboy” in 1947 and focused on delivering denim innovation and authentic craftsmanship devoted to its denim heritage. The iconic “W” stitch is the signature of Wrangler. Wrangler is available in selected Stuttafords stores.

Brand Ambassadors will be handling a bouquet of responsibilities for Wrangler including media liaison and creating new and innovative ways of providing brand exposure. Under the directorship of Thulane Hadebe, Brand Ambassadors is synonymous with representing the freshest and most relevant faces and brands from SA’s sexiest woman Lee-Ann Liebenberg to chic New York based model Nicola Breytenbach, from chic British footwear brand Butterfly Twists to South Africa’s leading eco luxe label, Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs including South Africa’s fashion and news weekly magazine, Grazia.

Brand Ambassadors represents and builds brands through traditional and non-traditional methods by developing brand-specific marketing strategies.
